How To Use Heat Gun For Soldering
The solder is heated before the wire which is not how you solder.
How to use heat gun for soldering. There are good ones. A torch with an electronic ignition which is safer and more reliable than a spark and a flame-spreading tip that lowers the heat for softening paint and caramelizing foods. The tip is the most crucial part which touches the part you want to solder.
Take the piece of shrink covering that you slid on earlier and slide it over directly on top of the soldering joint. Then fire the heat gun onto the solder paste holding the component with tweezers or another tool that wont catch fire until it becomes shiny. Put plumbing flux on the pipe and slide it into the fitting.
This should take no. 3M makes ones that are acceptable. Use a heat gun to heat it up closing the cover and voila.
If heated enough that the wire is above the melting point the plastice melts and solder pours out. You now have a nicely dressed perfectly functioning wire. Softening old paint putty and asphalt tile.
Weve created another soldering video. Mine is temperature controlled to 500 degrees celsius. To add a single new component to the board first place some solder paste on the component.
I have sure burned the crap out of things with my hot air station. Considering that solder melting points are far less than this then yes Id say the heat gun will melt your solderps i dont understand fahrenheit but that gun gets to 1000fsounds dang hot. But even then it is more reliable to solder the wires and then slide heat shrink over it.
