How To Clean Stained Earbuds
There are three ways to remove discoloration caused for example by jeans sunscreen or the like from the earphones or the corresponding case as with the Google Pixel Buds the AirPods Pro or the Galaxy Buds.
How to clean stained earbuds. Wipe down your headphones. You should do this at least once per week but you can do it daily. Then take an alcohol wipe and wipe the earbud and surrounding area.
You might not get the stains out I wear headphones for drumming but I use silicon earbuds for shooting and after each target practice I wash them in hot water with dish soap afterwards Ill soak them in alcohol for about a half hour or so. If there is dust or wax caught in the mesh grab a clean soft-bristled toothbrush and gently brush the mesh. To clean an AirPods case all you need is rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth.
Cleaning the AirPods Case. Make sure not to get any liquid in the openings. If you must you can slightly dampen the cloth with isopropyl alcohol to get rid of any grime.
You can use Debrox to remove any ear wax or dirt accumulated on the headphones. Do this on both the ear cups in areas like fabric folds and the main headphone unit. Clean the entire surface of the ear cups and the rest of the headphones.
Results are too good. The easiest way is to wipe your headset earbuds tips and pads using a lightly wet cloth with warm water and soap dry it out immediately after the cleaning process with a dry cloth you could also use lightly wet Cotton buds or Q-tips to clean small gids or tight areas the method works well with all types of headphones earbuds on-ear headphones in-ear headsets Apple Airpods over-ear headphones. When you clean the earbuds clean the case by wiping down the inside with a microfiber cloth dipped in a bit of rubbing alcohol.
First lint-free cloth works best for cleaning the case. Rubbing alcohol dries lightning fast and wont seep into the bud. This can mildly clean as well as disinfect the earbud.
