Can You Use Clorox Bleach On Colored Clothes
Its easy to bleach clothes white but before you get started there are a few things you need to know.

You cant tell just by looking at them or what color they are if they are colorfast to bleach but you can test for colorfastness with a simple bleachability test. Sharpie makes a wide variety of permanent colored markers and hopefully you can find one that is a close enough match to your shirt.

If your extra large machine does not have a bleach dispenser follow above instructions for Machines without a Bleach Dispenser with 1 cup of bleach. Add 2 teaspoons bleach to ΒΌ cup water and apply a drop of the solution to a hidden part of the item. Apply a drop of this solution to a hidden part of the colored item hems cuffs and inside seams work well.
You can bleach your white clothes by soaking them in a bucket of cold water adding bleach leaving it for about 10 minutes. Avoid using chlorine bleach for colored clothing since it lifts color from fabric and causes fading and white stains on your clothes. Find an inconspicuous spot on the garment such as an inside seam.
This only works well for small spots but is not practical if you accidentally washed the entire shirt. Dilute 2 teaspoons 10 ml of Clorox Bleach or Clorox Scented Bleach in 13 cup of water. Check the spot where you applied the bleach solution.
